Liquid sugar is a product that is composed of water and sucrose in solution. We offer cost-effective processes for high-quality liquid sucrose and invert sugar syrup production answering the specific requirements of the food and beverage industry.
Production of liquid sugars is gaining new recognition and demand from the food and beverage industry: Cane raw sugar available in large quantities at stable prices compared to other agricultural commodities. Thanks to the proximity of sugar refineries to the food industry, the possibility to build small to large scale efficient central units of liquid sugars. There is a considerable saving in energy by avoiding the cost of crystallization when supplying directly a liquid product ready to use.
Three main production scenarios are possible:
- Production of crystalline refined sugar at the refinery, with shipping and dissolving in liquid sugar at the end user’s facility.
- Production of liquid sugar at the refinery, using crystalline refined sugar as raw material.
- Direct production of liquid sugar, concurrently with crystalline refined sugar, from decolorized fine liquor.
